On August 27, 1995, the theater was opened for a parent meeting.  The cost of the theater was three and a half million dollars, a quarter of a million dollars was spent on the sound system alone. Three studio cameras, two field cameras, plus an editing lab and broadcast studio, made it possible for the students to produce videos for school and the community beyond.

Parents, students, and school officials were all there for the official ribbon cutting the first day of school: September 7, 1995.

On October 7, 1995 dedication ceremonies were held. Superintendent Robert Girolamo welcomed everyone. Several presentations were made.  Mr. William "Buck" McKeon presented the school with an American flag that had been flown over the capital of the U.S., in the name of Lancaster High School.

On June 16, 1999 LnHS had their first graduating class.
