Excavation of the contaminated soil consists of digging up the effected area and loading it into trucks. The trucks hauling the contaminated soil are covered to prevent a threat to the air quality in your town. The waste is transported to an approved disposal site. Because excavation is not a new technology the materials and methods are readily available. Therefore, the entire clean up process will not exceed 6 months (in most cases). |

approximately $400 per cubic yard. This includes the cost of
transportation and disposal.
