Welcome to my web site!

This is the web page for Mr. Pat Hayhurst. This site has been developed for Mr. Hayhurst's students in the hopes that it will be used for the purposes of study and enrichment with regard to Mr. Hayhurst's science classes.

Mr. Pat Hayhurst created this site for his science students' use. All of the text contained within may be printed or copied for use in Mr. Hayhurst's class or as part of the student's notebook.

Please use this site as a tool and not a toy, in other words...treat it with respect.

Take a look at my Back to School night presentation, just in case you missed it.

I want all of my students to take this quiz and report the results to me. It is a learning style inventory. Having the results of this quiz will better allow me to individually teach you.
Click here for the Free learning styles inventory.

A lot of people call me the "Rocket-Man" because one of my science interests is to make and launch 2-liter bottle rockets. I am planning on having my students do this later in the year, but if you would like to know more about that and how to make one of your own and get started earlier, just click here

I am fortunate enough to have the weather station service in my classroom. Here is the real time data being fed to NBC and AWS from my room.
